RA Housing (RAH) is a unique online platform that let students speak freely and frankly about their housing experience while studying. It is carefully conceptualized, elegantly developed and designed to promote safe living conditions for students around various colleges and universities across Canada. RAH collects housing reviews provided by students only. Users can share their housing experience, review on their housing conditions, find sub-lease tenants, and do many other things that will help organize their student living away from home.
This platform is designed for student’s benefits. For RAH, it is a matter of principle to be independent from any landlords, property managements or colleges/universities. We help students to communicate with landlords and property managements in faster and more advanced way. It is only students’ interests and that are in the focus of RA Housing.

In this position, you will increase RAH’s visibility on campus and social media with the goal of building futures, one success story at a time. This is a volunteer position requiring to work for 10 hours a week.

Advocate for safe, fair and comfortable living conditions for students. Use your existing connections and your networking skills to build and strengthen RAH partnerships with clubs and other organizations on your campus. Inform students about the house related issues in your city and how RAH can help them avoid such situations. Leverage your social media networks to get students engaged with our brand and our expertise.
Must be affiliated with either university or college in Ontario province. Must be an involved member of the campus community and consistently look for opportunities to expand the network even further. Competitive with grit who will do whatever it takes to get the job done. Quick, clever, and solution-oriented who can take information and run with it, not relying on a lot of direction. Comfortable working independently and can motivate itself to accomplish anything. Great at managing the time and is committed to completing the required tasks.
RA Housing is seeking few programmers who can work closely with and independently from our Senior Developer to build and maintain integrated systems. This is a part-time position, which may lead to full-time employment. Must be capable of working remotely. This is NOT an office position.

Bachelor’s degree. In-depth knowledge of PHP, MySQL, relational database design. Familiarity with HTML, JS, JQuery, version control systems (Git, SVN) and Linux based web hosting systems/command line interfaces. Good communication, eagerness to learn, excellent time management, deadline-driven.
RA Housing is seeking few Digital Marketing Interns to join our marketing team for an initial 1-year commitment. This is an unpaid internship requiring interns to work off-site either from their desks/home for at-least 10 hours a week.
We are looking for creative, analytical digital marketing interns to create engaging ad copy for our content and learn how to analyze marketing performance. Our ideal candidate is someone who has an interest in trending house related stories and popular landlord-tenant issues, with a specific focus on "Internet culture." The responsibilities for this job includes participating in calls and emails with partners, media buying, data analysis and content optimization. You should be able to work extremely quickly, as part of your job will be to respond to and keep up with events as they occur throughout the day.
Create sponsored and organic Facebook/Twitter/Google+ posts to promote our sites and content. Create engaging ad copy that represents our content in a clickable, shareable way. Work under the direction of the business development team to ensure copy meets policy and brand guidelines. Manage advertising campaigns on social platforms using our proprietary tools and software. Analyze the results of your campaigns and leverage that information to constantly improve.
Fluent in social media consumption and sharing trends on at least one of the major sites - Facebook, Twitter, and Reddit. Ability to stay on top of and ahead of content promotion trends. Go-getter and an out-of-the-box thinker. Data-driven, analytical mindset - you obsess over and experiment with your methods to get the most out of every opportunity. Basic Google Sheets/Excel proficiency. Experience with Photoshop/Pixlr or any other relevant software.
